This program is for Maryland residents only
The Maryland Science Center is committed to removing as many obstacles to participation as possible to ensure that all Marylanders have access to its exhibits and programs. Access Science allows anyone holding a Maryland SNAP or Maryland WIC card to purchase up to four tickets to the Science Center for $5 per person.
Admission to the Maryland Science Center includes three floors of exhibits. From astronomy to paleontology, the human body to physics and phenomena, the Science Center is packed with innovative exhibits that demonstrate the wonders of scientific discovery with a focus on open-ended exploration.
The Davis Planetarium is included with your admission, however there are specific showtimes and all shows are on a first come, first seated basis. The IMAX theater is available at an additional cost. IMAX tickets can only be purchased on site. Click here to see our current hours.
- Tickets are available weekends only
- Tickets must be reserved online in advance, same day sales are not available
- Limit 4 tickets per family per day
- Additional tickets will be charged regular price
- Children 2 and younger must be registered as "Toddler" and will receive free admission
- Your access program tickets will be reduced to $5 once you complete your registration and add your tickets to the basket, discounted tickets will appear before your payment information is collected
- You must present your SNAP/WIC along with your Maryland government issued ID to pick up your tickets for the day
- You will not be admitted without your Maryland access card and Maryland ID
