Ahoy there! Set your course for science and join MSC on June 5th 1pm -3pm for our Raingutter Regatta. Learn what keeps a boat afloat as you design and build a tiny boat at home, then bring it into the Maryland Science Center to test its seaworthiness!
All teams must register in advance. Families are encouraged to work on one boat together. Registration includes one boat kit (shapeable hull, mast, rutter, and sail) to serve as the starting point for your high seas boat-building adventure! The rest is up to your imagination.
Admission is not included with you Raingutter Regatta Registration.

You have the option of picking up your kit(s) for free or having the kit(s) shipped to you for $5 each kit. Last day for shipping is Friday, May 21st .
If you do not select the shipping option, you must pick up the kit at the Maryland Science Center between Friday-Sunday, 10am-4pm, by Sunday May 30th. You will be asked to confirm that you are picking up your kits when you register.
