Everyone’s favorite ball drop before bedtime is back!
Count down to the new year at the Maryland Science Center’s annual Midnight Noon celebration! Enjoy loads of festive activities that will get you in the mood to celebrate. Explore all three floors of hands-on science exhibits. Rock out to the bright and exuberant tunes of Marsha and the Positrons, and help us ring in the New Year with a noontime ball drop!
All activities are free with paid admission or membership.
The Davis Planetarium is included with your admission, however there are specific showtimes and all shows are on a first come, first seated basis.
We strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance and have waived our online service fees. Admission is valid for all day. You may arrive at any time during open hours.
Visitors who have purchased but not yet redeemed their Groupon Membership Voucher must show the voucher in person at our ticket desk (EVEN IF THEY ARE REJOINING) before they can reserve and receive free member admission tickets. Again, this Groupon Voucher must be redeemed in person first. Groupon voucher holders without an active membership cannot reserve member tickets in advance and cannot redeem their vouchers online. *Note to Active Members: When reserving your member tickets, you should not be asked to enter any payment/credit card information unless you are visiting with a larger number of patrons than your level permits per day. If you are showing a balance due, please ensure you are registered and signed in. The links to sign in or register are located at the upper right corner of this page. The price of your tickets will revert to $0 when added to the cart as long as you are signed in or registered with the email associated with your active membership. Use the Member Adult and Member Child (3-12 yo) row options - the last two rows of the ticket ordering grid. All children under three years old are free and do not count toward your daily member admits.
To reserve your free member tickets, your membership must be active. Expired members need to renew either online or at our ticket desk in person before reserving their free tickets.
Visitors utilizing their ASTC Passport Program benefits must show their valid, visiting member card at our ticket desk. Apologies, these reciprocal tickets cannot be reserved in advance.
