Eclipsing the Sun Ages: 8-18

Investigate phases of the Moon to understand how and when eclipses happen. Simulate the monthly cycle of phases while you chart how the Moon appears to change.

All are welcome to attend planetarium shows, and everyone attending ages 3 and up is required to have a ticket. Once the show starts you will not be able to enter or re-enter the theater.

Inclement Weather Policy: If the Maryland Science Center is closed during the original date of this program, the make-up date will be during the week of January 17^th-19^th. Your program will happen on the same day of week and time of the original program.  Should there a be a weather incident our website will be updated by 7am for that days’ programming. You will only receive a refund if we are closed during the make-up week.
