What do bread, cheese, and recycling all have in common? Discover the differences between molds, yeasts, and mushrooms, and learn how scientists are using fungi in new and existing ways.

Inclement Weather Policy: If the Maryland Science Center is closed during the original date of this program, the make-up date will be during the week of January 17th-19th. Your program will happen on the same day of week and time of the original program. Should there a be a weather incident our website will be updated by 7am for that days’ programming. You will only receive a refund if we are closed during the make-up week.
