How do plants use food, water, and sunlight? What does it take to get water to the top of a tree? Dig into these questions and more as you explore transpiration, capillary action, and photosynthesis.

Inclement Weather Policy: If the Maryland Science Center is closed during the original date of this program, the make-up date will be during the week of January 17th-19th. Your program will happen on the same day of week and time of the original program. Should there a be a weather incident our website will be updated by 7am for that days’ programming. You will only receive a refund if we are closed during the make-up week.
